WOMENSWEAR
The go-to dress style of the 1920s is the 'Flapper.' The Flapper dress is short and loose, short-sleeved or sleeveless, and never much more extended than knee length – which was super short in those days. They can be adorned with lace, sequins, cutaways, patterns or tassels.
Besides above-the-knee, knee-length, and below-the-knee, long dresses were also popular. From standout red to minimalist nude, these long dresses were often paired with pearl jewelry and headbands. Traditional floor-sweepers reminiscent of the era were worn for balls and formal occasions.
